Introduction

To start generating valuable feedback for your business, you'll need to send your data to Feefo's platform. This data includes a list of your recent customers and the details of their purchases or interactions with your business. In cases where customers order multiple products in one order, each product is considered a separate line in the sales uploads, but the order information remains the same (e.g., order number, name, email). Feefo sends one email and one feedback form per order reference, regardless of the number of products in the order. If customers place multiple orders with different order references, they will receive separate emails.

When Feefo receives your data, it can send feedback requests to the listed customers, providing them with a link to a feedback form where they can leave their reviews.

What’s in my data?

Your data consists of:

  1. A list of your recent customers.
  2. Details of their purchases or interactions with your business.
  3. For orders with multiple products, each product is treated as a separate line in the sales uploads with different product information, while the order information remains the same.

How do I send data to Feefo?

Feefo provides several methods to send your data, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your business needs:

  1. Manual upload

You can manually upload your data through the Feefo Hub, which a great method if you don’t have access to development resources. You can find full instructions on how to do a manual upload from the Feefo Hub here.

  2. Automated upload

For businesses with a high volume of data and who want to save time, automated upload options are recommended. You can choose from the following methods:
    1. Upload your sales file to Feefo's SFTP for processing.
    2. Feefo can fetch a sales file from your webserver.
    3. If you have an eCommerce website, Feefo offers a JS plugin that facilitates automated data transfer.

These are good options if you don’t have resource to commit to regular manual uploads and would like to save yourself some time. If you have a high volume of data we will always recommend that you look to implement one of these methods.
  3. API
For real-time data transfer and immediate feedback requests to customers after their purchase, Feefo offers the "entersaleremotely" API. This is an excellent option for businesses looking to provide prompt feedback opportunities to their customers. Find out more about using the API here.

  4. Ecommerce plugin

Feefo has developed easy-to-install apps and plugins to integrate with popular eCommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento. These plugins streamline the integration process, allowing you to connect Feefo with your online store quickly and easily.

For product reviews, it is recommended to connect your product data with Feefo. This enables more targeted feedback collection. Read more about that here.

Feefo also offers the Feefo Zapier App which can be used in conjunction with Zapier (an online automation tool) to easily automate the feedback request process between Feefo and other tools and platforms.

  5. The Smart Link is a specialised method of feedback collection and not part of the standard Feefo offering. It is typically used in specific use cases. If you are interested in using Smart Link, please get in touch with Feefo to inquire further.
