Introduction
Integrating Feefo with your Magento store enables you to collect and display customer reviews seamlessly. Follow these steps to connect your Magento store to an existing Feefo account.
Pre-requisites
Ensure you have the following before starting the integration:
- A Feefo account
- MagentoV2 admin credentials
How it works
Step 1 - Verify domain in Feefo account
- Log in to your Feefo account.
- Navigate to Settings > Brand Profile > Website forwarding URL.
- Ensure the domain for your Magento store, including the full protocol (http:// or https://), is added. Do not include a trailing slash.
Step 2 - Confirm Magento admin permissions
Ensure the MagentoV2 admin logged in to install and set up the plugin is a Merchant Admin on the Feefo Hub.
Step 3 - Install the Feefo plugin
- In your Magento admin panel, navigate to Marketing > User Content > Feefo Ratings and Reviews.
- Select the website that requires the plugin setup.
Step 4 - Configure the plugin
- If the setup is correct, the plugin will find your Feefo account and display the Welcome Back page.
- Enter your Feefo Merchant Admin details and click Verify Account.
- If the account is recognized, the Plugin Installation page will be displayed. Click Install Automatically.
Step 5 - Finalise the installation
- On the next page, ensure the option to send historic emails is ticked and click Next.
- Once processed, click Complete Setup.
Step 6 - Verify the data source connection
- If the integration is successful, you will see a data source connected in your Feefo account.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues during the integration process, ensure that:
- The domain is correctly added in the Feefo account.
- The MagentoV2 admin has the necessary permissions.
- All steps are followed in the correct order.
