name is the customer's name and has two primary uses:

  • As the salutation in the Feefo feedback request email (i.e. in this example, it's 'Graham').

  • It also identifies the customer when viewing the feedback in the Feefo Administration Portal. For example, in the Opted-Out Customers list:

There are no restrictions as to how this is defined and so any format is possible, for example:
  • Mr John Smith. 
  • Mr J Smith. 
  • John Smith. 
  • John (Note: Using a first name only could make it more difficult to identify the customer when viewing their details in the Feefo Administration Portal).
When the parameter is present with no value, the value ‘Customer’ will be assigned as the name of the customer.
